Thailand Training Camp 2017

In June 2017, our Singapore Women Team were invited to Thailand for a 4 Days 3 Nights Training and Friendly matches at the Institute of Physical Education Bangkok Campus to prepare for the upcoming South East Asia Handball Federation  (SEAHAF) competition in late November 2017.

This was the first time that our girls travelled to Thailand and they were exposed with a full day of friendly matches daily. It was tough, however, our players were persistent and resilient to overcome this training camp. It was also our pleasure and honour for our national women handball team to exchange pointers and skills with the strong Thailand team.

With the conclusion of the Thailand Training Camp, our team is definitely even more prepared for the upcoming SEAHAF in late November 2017.

Singapore Handball National Women Team will be going on a training camp in Japan (Okinawa and Tokyo) from 2nd April 2017 to 12th April 2017.

The team will be having training and friendly matches with different teams daily. It will be very tough on the players, however, it is a good chance for them to gain a unique experience in Japan and also not forgetting to learn each other’s culture!

Most importantly, it is our pleasure and honour for our national women handball team to be personally trained by the ex-coach of Japan’s own national team!! It is indeed a rare chance for the girls!

The following will be the schools and clubs that we will be working with for this trip when having friendly matches and training.
